Real Homes. Real Hems. No Studio.

Sound Familiar?

You've heard this sentence a hundred times.

"Madam, Thursday aa jana."

And Thursday comes. It isn't ready. And when it finally is, the hem is two inches off.

What one ₹100 alteration really costs you:

  • Two trips to the shop
  • Auto fare, both ways
  • A week without the outfit
  • A finish you didn't choose
  • And the same story next month

Your kurta comes back today. Not next Thursday.

Drop the kurta at the tailor."Madam, Thursday aa jana." Thursday comes, it's not ready. Then the hem is crooked anyway. With STITCHMATE™ on your dining table, that whole trip disappears. Hem it in the afternoon. Wear it the same evening. No shop, no waiting, no arguing over ₹120.

If you can use a mixer, you can use this.

Press the pedal, the fabric moves forward. That's the entire skill. Two speeds, so you start slow and stay in control. A built-in threader for the needle.

It pays for itself before Diwali.

Count what you actually spend. Falls and pico on one saree. Kurta alterations after weight change. Two school uniforms hemmed. Curtains shortened. A blouse taken in. That's several hundred rupees a month, every month, forever.

Same Kurta. No Tailor. No Thursday.

Frequently Asked Questions

I've never sewn in my life. Will I really be able to use this?

Yes — this is the most common worry and the most common surprise. There are three things to learn: threading the needle, choosing low or high speed, and pressing the pedal. The manual has pictures for each. Start on a scrap piece of old cloth for five minutes, then move to the real garment.

Is this a toy? Will it actually sew jeans?

It's a real machine with a metal hook and a proper double-thread lockstitch — not a single-thread handheld stitcher. It sews through 4–6 layers of ordinary denim, which covers jeans hems, bag straps, curtains and cushion covers. What it isnotbuilt for is heavy leather, canvas, or all-day commercial tailoring.

Does it need electricity?

Either way works. Use the included adapter with a normal wall socket, or put in 4 AA batteries and run it completely wireless. Important: use one or the other, never both together.

What can I actually make with it?

Hems on kurtas, trousers and school uniforms. Saree falls. Taking in blouses and kurtis after weight change. Curtain edges. Cushion and pillow covers. Torn seams, pocket repairs, name tapes and badges. Small craft and DIY projects.

How do I change the bobbin thread?

The machine has a built-in winder — you load an empty bobbin, run the winder, and it fills itself from your thread spool. The bobbin case sits under a clear cover, so you can see how much thread is left without opening anything.

Is Cash on Delivery available?

Yes. Cash on Delivery works across most pin codes in India. You can also pay via UPI, debit card, or credit card at checkout. 7-day returns, no questions asked.

I bought this mainly for loose hems and small tears because I was tired of taking everything to the tailor. It’s compact, doesn't take much space, and is quite easy to use once you get the hang of it.

I mostly use it for my daughter's school uniforms, loose seams and small repairs. It saves me from making a separate trip to the tailor every time something needs fixing.

I was looking for something compact for my apartment. The machine fits easily on my table and the foot pedal makes sewing much easier. Good option for someone starting out.

I had never used a sewing machine before, so I was a little nervous. I started with scrap fabric and simple repairs, and within a few tries I felt much more comfortable using it.
